Top 10 Best New Men Hairstyles

One of those trends we can actually find nowadays was hairstyles. As we can see, mens are looking forward with too many types of hairstyle. So, let's check out the top 10 of best new hairstyles.

From prohibition inspired looks to Brad Pitt’s shoulder-length do, rules are out the window with men’s hairstyles this season. These cuts are making a statement whether short and styled or au naturel. We looked to Elle Medico, men’s grooming expert at Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa for advice on making these trends work for the everyday man.

From Boardwalk Empire to Lawless, the 1920’s Prohibition High-and-Tight has made a strong comeback. This style is trendy, but still masculine enough for the masses. Tom Hardy rocks this look with scruff – maintaining a badass image.
Do it if: Your hair is straight—works with fine, medium, or thick.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is wavy or curly.
Ask your barber to: Keep the sides as short as possible, and fade hair shorter into the nape of your neck and sideburns. Leave at least an inch and a half on the top and the edges blunt.
How to pull it off: Use a gel like Kerastase Homme Capital Force gel to keep hair in place. Put it in when wet, and once again when dry.
Arguably the most popular style right now, dudes looking for edge are going sky-high with The Mainstream Hipster. And it works for men of all ages—we’ve seen this look on the likes of Justin Bieber and David Beckham. “This one’s an attention getter,” Medico says. “It’s not for the wallflowers of the world.”
Do it if: Your hair is straight to wavy, fine to medium.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is very thick or very curly.
Ask your barber to: Leave at least three inches on top to build up the pomp. Side length can range from short to medium, depending on your style.
How to pull it off: If you’re dedicated (and not too proud), blow-drying the top straight back helps build body. Once dry, use a strong hold product like <a data-cke-saved-href="http://www.philipb.com/lovin-pomade-p-1884.html” target=" href="http://www.philipb.com/lovin-pomade-p-1884.html” target=" _blank"="">Phillip B Lovin Pomade ($26) to keep hair in place.
If you can rock the leather and sex look without the cheese, The James Dean says movie star swag. This style has body and pomp, but is still clean cut enough for the office. Ryan Reynolds opts for this more relaxed-stylish look.
Do it if: Your hair is wavy to curly, medium to thick
Put the scissors down if: You hair is very fine or very straight
Ask your barber to: Keep the sides at a medium length; top to side ratio should be 2:1 and blended.
How to pull it off: Use a medium hold pomade, like Supremo Magic Move Soft, ($24) and place in hair while still wet. Comb straight back.
From Brad Pitt in those Chanel No. 5 ads to post-Demi Ashton Kutcher, The Let it Grow has become masculine again. But beware of the Fabio; letting the length go past your shoulders will leave you looking like the cover of an old romance novel. “It’s a hard haircut to achieve because it takes a while to grow,” says Medico. “But once there, it is low maintenance.”
Do it if: Your hair is straight, medium, or thick.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is fine.
Ask your barber to: Do nothing, more often. Stop by every 8-10 weeks until you’re looking like Brad.
How to pull it off: Towel dry, and apply a small amount of product, like Jack Black Sleek Finish Texture Cream, ($17) to minimize unwanted pouf.
If you want length, but not the full coif, The Flow and Comb styled look works for any professional. Less douchey than the slicked-back businessman, adding length here is key. Chris Hemsworth cleans up nice on the red carpet with this style.
Do it if: Your hair is straight, and fine to thick.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is super curly or wavy.
Ask your barber to: Give you a classic square cut, but longer on both sides and the front.
Products to pull it off: When your hair is wet, use a mousse like Sebastian Mousse Forte($11), and comb back. Let it dry naturally.
This Roman style just won’t quit. We last saw The Caesar a decade ago on the buff Gladiatoractor Russell Crow, and it recently resurfaced with Gerard Butler. Perfect for the low-maintenance man, this short crop is hot again and here to stay.
Do it if: Your hair is straight to wavy, fine to thick.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is very textured.
Ask your barber to: Cut your hair evenly on the sides and top at a short length.
How to pull it off: While you could go sans product, push hair forward with a light style aid likeAveda Humectant Pomade ($20) to keep the cut looking clean.
Great for surfer-types or boy bands, The Bed Head mop is young and playful—but not for corporate America. Despite its name, this look takes a lot more meticulous effort than you’d expect.
Do it if: Your hair is wavy and curly, and you’re looking to date Taylor Swift.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is very straight or fine.
Ask your barber to: Let your hair grow until there’s at least two inches on the sides, three on top. Once you’ve got the length, ask them to add texture to create movement.
How to pull it off: Apply a hair gel like Paul Labrecque Curl Defining Gelee ($22) when your hair is wet or towel dried.
Definitely for the more adventurous guy, The Modified Skrillex look channels an electro-rock attitude. Try it out if you’re looking to take a style risk or headed to Electric Zoo. And if your mom comes to down, the hair on top can swoop down to cover that close side shave.
Do it if: Your hair is medium to thick, wavy to straight.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair has extreme texture or curl.
Ask your barber to: Shave away the sides, and keep the length fairly long on top.
How to pull it off: Style at your free will—stick it up or push it to one side. Use a balm like Remino Dry Wax ($22) to make it stay.
The James Bond cut is notoriously clean and sophisticated—shaken, not stirred. You’ll omit confidence and class, but frequent upkeep is a must to keep it polished.
Do it if: Your hair is straight, and fine to medium.
Put the scissors down if: Your hair is curly and thick.
Ask your barber to: Cut your hair closer on the sides than the top, then blend and texture. Pay them a visit every three weeks
How to pull it off: Towel dry and comb to part. Use a gel product like L’Oreal Melting Gel ($4) to keep in place.

This year, men are letting their scruffy Mountain Man beard grow full—and we’re not just talking Mandy Patinkin. Even metro men like Ryan Gosling and Adam Levine are wearing their whiskers long. For a flattering hairstyle, juxtapose with a classic clean square cut.
Do it if: You have hair.
Put the scissors down if: No exceptions here.
Ask your barber to: Add more texture to the square cut, and let your beard grow. Maintenance you’ll do on your own—trim to keep it from looking too bushy.
Products to pull it off: Dab a bit of pomade like Paul Labrecque Daily Finish Texture Balm($26) to your ‘do and beard for a fine finish.
